Introduction to the learning environment

Reflection 1

·         What did you think of the school? I think of the school that the school is very hardly working and everyone there was very supportive. A very great and a comfortable environment for the students by the teachers.

·         Who did you meet? I meet the teachers, the principal, the children and the staff.

·         Did you have problems getting materials for your future portfolio? No I did not have any problem in getting materials for my future portfolio because I observed many things there which were very helpful for my portfolio.

·         What materials were you able to get? I get a lot of materials which it will help my in future .the teachers attitude, the way the teachers treat the students, how the teachers greet the parents. How to manage a class with 27 students. The material was very helpful for me to improve my teaching skills.

·         What surprised you? The children of the class were 27. All of them very energetic, ready to shout and play. But, it surprised me that how the teacher managed the class very gratefully.

·          

·         What shocked you? The thing that shocked me was that the students were very active in the studies, in the physical activities, good in understand stories and what the teacher asked them  they enjoy the activities and learning as well. I think this is all because they have a perfect teacher.

·          

·         What delighted you? The thing that delighted me was that I improved my teaching skill by observing the teachers. The activities done in the school also delighted like the physical activities, the words writing. How the teacher’s guide the students.

·         What did you learn? : I learned that a teacher should be calm, delighted with the students and   delighted in teaching. The teacher should teach with great ideas like teach with activities. The teachers there were very guiding, helpful and polite and with a positive. This is very important for a good environment in the school.

Write a summary of your day

The day was full of knowledge. The teachers are very kind. They greet me in a very kind way. I like the teachers and the other staff as well. With the teachers the students can feel safe, physically and emotionally. It is a supportive community where kids and teachers focus on learning. I went to Sheikh Zayed Palace with 2 teacher and 40 children. It was nice all student were polity and quietly. That day was long day and I sew many interesting things it was a great day.
